Clinic Update

After a short break away for the 2021 Paracycling road national championships, the clinic is open again for appointments.
I am pleased to say it was a successful weekend for Neil and myself on the tandem bike picking up 2 Silver medals from the time trial and road race. In both evens it was a very small margin that separated us from Gold, so we walk away knowing that with a few small adjustments we may be able to get gold next time. A huge thanks to Neil for piloting my tandem and to phil as my support crew. Also, thanks to everyone that sent messages of support and encouragement.

In clinic, I continue to offer all consults as extended appointments 45minutes. This allows us both time to understand your health needs and time to develop strategies to help give you back control of your body and your life. We have had to have a small price increase to $85 for all consults. The good news is this still makes me one of, if not the most affordable of comparable services in the region. I will still offer some bulk billing for some patients on a Medicare treatment plan but ask that those who can afford to pay the gap do so, please note Medicare provides $54.60 for Physiotherapy services under a treatment plan, so you would be asked to contribute $30.

Providing quality health care and health education to all is something I am passionate about, so I continue to offer discounted services where needed. If you do know someone that needs help or support and would struggle to afford private Physiotherapy care please do not hesitate to contact me.
As a sole practitioner I am largely dependent on “word of mouth” referrals – so if you have found my service beneficial it really helps if you can recommend my services. Thanks to those who have sent someone my way, I am always please to be able to assist.

Please keep an eye on the resources section of the website which is always being updated with helpful evidence based information including some excellent video presentations.

Regards
Dan
